Project: Catch Up – Inspired by Image and Texture

This is a personal project I made in my free time, outside of school. I was inspired by an image I came across, and it sparked the idea to turn it into a full poster design. I wanted to use this as a chance to practice my design skills and apply what I’ve learned so far.

The image had a strong mood and atmosphere, which I used as the base for the visual style of the poster. I focused on creating something that felt both artistic and bold, using composition, color, and emotion as my guides.

One of the main things I worked on was adding texture to the design to give it more depth and feeling. I also paid special attention to the placement of typography, making sure it balanced well with the image and supported the overall message and look of Catch Up.

This project helped me to practice creative decision-making and gave me the freedom to experiment without limits. It reminded me how powerful visual inspiration can be when you follow your ideas and just start creating.
